Bit chilly this morning!

I am very pleased with my little self in as much as I did actually get up at 5 o’clock again this morning and did go out for a run but the lack of degrees came as something of a shock to the system!

Did a slightly different route today which involved running along one side of the river, crossing a bridge and down the other – it always makes me smile to look on google earth for there is no sign of the bridge and it looks like I can walk on water!

Provided I remember to set the alarm it is my intention to make the quiteabitfurtherthanIthought journey to the inaugural parkrun at St. Albans where I look forward to running with abradypus again, funnily enough I have run round Verulamium Park in the past when I did a delivery to St. Albans and had some time to kill whilst I waited to collect it again – the museum’s quite good too!

About JovialGnome

Heavily into running 20 years ago with a PB of 1.42.00 in the Shrewsbury Half Marathon in 1985 and 3.48.49 in the Telford Marathon in 1986 - then for some reason I just stopped and have done little or no physical exercise between then and 2 or 3 years ago! I've now moved to Boston in Lincolnshire where I really enjoy looking after my 13 Ryeland ewes and 1 ram and am rejoicing in the distinct lack of hills! I suspect that sub 4 hour marathons are gone forever but hey, I'm having a great time trying!
