Thank ewe

My alarm was set for 5 o’clock but I didn’t need it for a plaintive bleating woke me at 4.30 and it had an urgency to it that I couldn’t ignore and once outside I found that Sybil Trelawney had given birth to a little baby boy! Given the size of her udder I was fairly sure she was carrying twins but she didn’t appear to be in any distress or need any intervention on my part so I put my kit on and went for a run.

My almost five mile route didn’t come all that easily to me this morning, felt very listless and lethargic and my legs felt really heavy, maybe my mind was on other things and lo and behold when I got back Sybil had had her second little baby boy, think I’m going to have to call them Crabbe & Goyle!

Don’t think any more of the girls are close to lambing so even though I’m planning another early start, I should get an uninterrupted sleep. Total Juneathon distance so far = 64k.

Very impressive mileage you’re accumulating there and extraordinarily cute lambs.

  2. Aw, lambs and running my favourite things in life! Well done on your miles.
